A Professional Assessment of Twilight Sparkle as a Librarian

The hero of the tale is Twilight Sparkle, the librarian of Ponyville and the protagonist of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. She is undoubtedly intelligent, considerate and brave. But is she, from a professional’s point of view, an effective librarian? What follows is an assessment of her in that capacity.

This summer, I met a teenage boy who identified himself as a “brony.” I proceeded to ask him about a million questions about this phenomenon. For example, did you know they have an annual convention for male fans of the show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic? This information changed me.
